When I saw this nursery by Gray Malin I tried to pinpoint what made it so special and stand out from other nurseries I am always seeing. None of the actual furinture or fixtures seemed unusual and the room itself was a simple box with no specific character details. But then I realised that the “hero” of the room was the wallpaper and not only because it is the beautiful blue one from Farrow and Ball but that the real secret was wallpapering every vertical surface.
All the walls and even the open shelving! This truly makes the room “designery” and I think if you are looking to up your game when it comes to designing a room and can stretch your budget instead of just wallpapering one wall, go the full hog – it is so worth it!
